Wanda Faye (Pugh) Reed Spriggs Clearwater Scales, age 83 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 8:46 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana.  She was a homemaker, a member of the First Church Of God, and also was a member of VFW Post 3601 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary.

Wanda was born April 15, 1929 in Casey, Illinois to Earl and Lucille (Churchill) Pugh.

Survivors include her daughter Debby Clearwater of Paris, Illinois, two grandchildren Andy Brown of Paris, Illinois and Joey Clearwater of Marshall, Illinois, a great granddaughter Lily Brown of Brocton, Illinois, a great grandson Bryson Brown of Paris, Illinois, and two sisters Janie Jodry of Martinsville, Illinois and Mary Knicley of Newton, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her father Earl Pugh, her mother Lucille (Churchill) Pugh Johnson, and one brother Jim Smiley.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, Illinois.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the First Church Of God.
