Robert Lee Rollings, age 69 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in his residence. He was an operator for Eli Lilly Corp., and a member of the First Christian Church, and the Senior Golf League.
Mr. Rollings was born December 3, 1942 in Paris, Illinois to the late Walter and Blanche Ellen (Wright) Rollings. He married Paula Jane (Volk) Rollings May 24, 1968 in Marshall, Illinois and she survives.
Other survivors include one son Bradley Stephen (Lisa) Rollings of Greenwood, Indiana, two grandchildren Lilly and Parker Rollings, both of Greenwood, Indiana, eight siblings; Richard “Dick” Rollings of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nancy Weger of Paris, Illinois, Wanda Porter of Hume, Illinois, Donna Shewey of Paris, Illinois, Larry Rollings of Hume, Illinois, Charles “Charlie” Rollings of Ashmore, Illinois, Susie Kurek of Brocton, Illinois, and Ruthie Rollings of Monticello, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Tom Rollings, and two sisters Betty Eggers and Margaret Whittemore.

Visitation for Mr. Rollings will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Embarrass Cemetery.
